Food and Diet for Cancer Patients – Part 3

As we said, a cancer patient who has a poor diet is not helping him or herself but only most likely worsening their chances for survival. Actually, 30% of individuals who have cancer got it from eating a poor diet in the first place. While increasing protein, calories, and so on is very beneficial, many cancer patients will still become malnourished for several reasons. It can be caused from frequent vomiting or from a significant decrease in food intake from loss of appetite, treatments, and so on. That is why it is going to be very important to take vitamins everyday which will enhance the patient’s recovery as well as potentially prevent future growths.

Multivitamins and Minerals

Depending on the type of cancer, certain vitamins will need to be increased. Typically, a multivitamin will be suggested by your doctor which includes vitamin C, and various fat soluble vitamins. These include Vitamin A, D, E, K, B, and more. The multivitamin also includes thiamine, riboflavin, folic acid, niacin, as well as vitamin B6 and lastly, B12.

Nutrients to Help Vomiting

There are also certain supplements a cancer patient can take to help replace what is lost when dealing with the side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. For example, your doctor may recommend magnesium, electrolytes, sodium, potassium, and more.

If all of the nutrients above sound familiar as though you have read them somewhere before, you have! Actually, many of these vitamins and minerals are found right within the Marine Plankton supplement. If you did some research you can see for yourself. You can go ahead and refer to our posts called The Make-Up of Marine Phytoplankton 1, Part 2, and Part 3. Between these three posts you will see a gathered list of all the nutrients that Marine Plankton supplements have to offer. Oddly enough it includes the electrolytes a cancer patient requires, magnesium that they take in a multivitamin, vitamin A which works as an antioxidant, and many more. Other common nutrients include folic acid, riboflavin, thiamine, B12, and the list goes on.

So you see, although we cannot claim that Marine Plankton is a cure because of the law, what we can do is show you just how beneficial it has been and is. If doctors recommend a multivitamin to a cancer patient and Marine Plankton shares many of those nutrient make-ups and then some, why wouldn’t Marine Plankton be just as beneficial or even recommended? Since diet and proper nutrients is so important to patient’s recovery process and Marine Plankton has these required vitamins and minerals, you would think it would work just as well if not better than a multivitamin. This truly is just common sense! Perhaps this is why people claim is has helped or cured their cancer, because of all the nutrients that make up Marine Plankton play a significant role in repairing the body, even more so than a multivitamin.
